This will be the main focus of my BATs, as I build the town of Suemori for the upcoming reboot of Okaiken. A lot of buildings are derived from the traditional "machiya" (town houses) found in cities such as Kanazawa, Kyoto, Hagi or Edo. The Okaiken Jokamachiya Collection is a collection of Muromachi Period - Edo Period Japanese buildings. Watch this space if I did decide to nightlight them to modern period standards! I still don't know how to do nightlights but considering I'm starting from the Sengoku Period (where even candles were nonexistent), there won't be a lot of nightlighting involved.
Only took me a whole day to crash course on everything, from making the model to texturing the model. I think I finally figured how to do these now. Hopefully you'll hear a release very soon. Thanks to Boricua, and motivating me to start modelling and BATing, I especially thank Mushy for being such a great guide to the complexities of BATing. We still have Craig's SPAM - R.U.M.P.I'm usually pretty bad at exporting BATs and I felt like an absolute beginner compared to other people, but I'm trying hard to at least release a couple of BATs when I'm bored.
The more silly it is the more changes is has to get used. Several BATters, LOTters and modders reside here, taking their time while doing what they are doing. Master himself has retired from modding, but the site itself haven't slowed down. Smaller and very relaxed community - and my personal hangout.
